December After two company name changes, changed the company name to Tokyo Nissan Auto Sales Co., Ltd. ("Tokyo Nissan")

August The predecessor to Nissan Prince Tokyo Sales Co., Ltd., Tokyo Electro Automobile Co. (established in June 1947), held an exhibition of its electric vehicle "Tama" (E4S-47) in front of Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. (First sales event in Tokyo; all five cars sold out)
